Proud Aunt! :)
Over the past month and a half I've spent a lot of time with little Tyler Mercer, and I love it so much! It has definitely given me some good experience and taught me I do not want children for a long time. Not that Tyler is a bad baby, he is actually really good! I just do not want to be solely responsible for someone for the rest of my life yet! But I'm enjoying taking care of Tyler and giving him back when I'm ready to go home!
I must admit Tyler is the cutest baby I have seen and I'm not just saying that because he's my nephew! :) I'm excited to be in his life and spoil him like every aunt should!
Here's a video of him with the hiccups!!! :)
Sorry it's sideways!!! Hope everyone is doing well, and I hope to write more often than I have been!!!
XOXO!

It's been a while!
First off, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Years!! My was very relaxing and amazing!
I got to spend a lot of time with my family and friends! It was great to see everyone while I was in town and not worry about school, and for the first time not have to work over the break.
Sadly the break had to come to an end and I'm back in Huntsville! I'm sad to be back really because I currently have no roommate (something you could be praying for, please!) I'm nervous to get one and have to get to know someone I have never met! But I'm not sure when I will get a roommate so for now I'm living alone(also something you could pray for!:)) I'm not one who likes to be alone so I guess I'm being taught how to be alone!
Now I'm trying to get ready for school and get settled in again. My mom and dad brought me back up here today and that was nice to have them here for a little while! That's about it for now, hope all is well!!!
XOXO

Winter Wonderland!
As most everyone knows it snowed here recently! I was really excited to have snow so early, and my first semester at Sam! My family in Houston got some snow, but in Huntsville it snowed quite a bit! I have to admit it was the most snow that I've ever seen, yes I know very sad!!! Anyways, Savannah and I had so much fun playing outside!
At first when it was still light outside it was sleeting, and we thought that was snow, yes we are from Houston where it NEVER snows! HA! Then I went to class and it began to snow just a little bit, luckily my teacher let us out early, and when I was walking home it really started to come down!! When I got home I hurried and made Savannah come out with me so that the fun could begin! We walked all around campus and it was so pretty! Our campus is usually dead but so many people were outside and it was so fun! We wish it would snow a lot so that people would be happy all the time! :) Then we got some hot chocolate and continued to walk around, we were going to go up onto of the parking garage but then these guys started throwing snowballs at us and it did not make us very happy! So then we went back home and defrosted for a while! Our neighbors came and knocked on our door and told us it was snowing even harder so we went and built snowmen and had a snowball fight and just talked with our neighbors! The snow really piled up and it was covering the grass almost completely! The grand finale of the night was when we got a cardboard box and started sledding down the hills, that was SO much fun!
This was a great addition to our fun filled semester! I'm really sad that this semester is over, but I have to say it was one of the best experiences in my life so far! Savannah is not going to be my roommate next semester because she has to go student teach(I'm not bitter I promise!!!) but I can only hope and pray that next semester will be half as much fun as this semester was!!!

Gingerbread Fun!
So, I've never made a gingerbread house so Savannah and I decided why not buy one!!! We found one at Walmart for only 10 dollars! So we came home put some Christmas music on and got creative!!! It's a lot harder than you would think to make it look pretty, so I went for the just snowed look on my side, Savannah was a bit more creative on her side! Yes we split it into sides and then surprised each other when we were finished!!! So now we have a really cute gingerbread house on our counter(half eaten though), even the maintenance guy was impressed with out abilities :)!! I think I'm going to build gingerbread houses from now on!

Wonderful Break!
The week started off with Cristie's reveal party, which was a blast!!! We got to find out what they sex of their baby is, and I am very excited to be having a nephew!! It's going to be a lot of fun, I must admit I was really hoping for a niece, but I love boys too! I only wanted a girl because I am the only one in the family! The baby's name is going to be Tyler Jeffery Mercer! This was a very fun start to my week, even though I had to go back to Huntsville for only one class, which my teacher decided to have a test that day! Anyways.. I'm not bitter I promise!! ;)
Well I also got to pick out my bridesmaid dress for Savannah and Greg's wedding, all of us bridesmaids went to get out our dresses, and that was a lot of fun!! They are really cute dresses and make all the girls look exceptionally beautiful! I'm very excited about their wedding which is in like 3 months now! :)
AND then of course Thursday, Thanksgiving, which I must say next to my birthday is my favorite holiday, because you get to eat whatever you want and not feel guilty about it..well maybe a little!!! My family all came into town and over to our house for Thanksgiving, and with some yummy turkey, a lot of food, a little nap, and some football I must say it was the perfect day!
The rest of the weekend was spent just doing nothing, I got to enjoy time with my best friend, Roxanne, and her mom, which is always a lot of fun. We watched movies and did absolutely nothing! I also go to spend time with Timothy and some friends watching football!
It was very nice to be home and spend time with the people I love and eat some really good food. I'm sad that it is over but I'm ready to finish off this semester and get back home for Christmas break!!!
XOXO!

Pretty in Pink!
Thursday was my 21st birthday, and I had so much fun! First off Savannah told me the night before that I could not come out of my room until 6:30, for no specific reason of course! So on Thursday I woke up very anxious to see what Savannah was up to, I laid in my bed and could hear her scurrying around :). Finally at 6:30 I hopped out of bed and when I opened my door there was a huge banner that said "HAPPY BIRTHDAY"
and she was working on my pink waffles! This is when we decided the theme color for my birthday was PINK! She sang happy birthday to my with pink candles, and then i enjoyed my waffles!! I opened her present which was a cute wallet, cups with funny sayings on them, and my favorite sour patch kids!!! Unfortunately we both had to go to class after this very fun morning!

When I got home from class I just hung out, and then it was time for another surprise, I was talking to Tim and someone started knocking on my door, it was a man from Huntsville florist and he had some flowers for me! Tim had sent me flowers, they were beautiful and they were also pink. I thought that was really sweet of him, and I did not even have to tell him to do it! :)
After that not much happened, until dinner!
My Mom, Dad, Steven, Greg, Savannah, Tim, and myself (Cristie could not make it :( ) met me for dinner in the Woodlands, at Cafe Adobe. I had a lot of fun opening presents and enjoying being with my family! And of course they sang Happy birthday to me and brought me Sopapillas!! We went to market street after dinner, got Starbucks and walked around! Market street was really pretty already decorated for Christmas and everything!
Unfortunately, the night had to end but I would say it was one of the best birthdays so far!

So now that I'm a blogger hopefully you will come back and read more about my life!
XOXO!
